There are so many wonderful things about our neighborhood and living near downtown. One of them is our close proximity to the Winter's Farmer's Market, located in Chatham Arch (two historic neighborhoods to the south of us). We have been going there every Saturday for most of this winter. Addie loves all of the sights, smells and food samples (particularly the maple syrup, honey and cookies). We often run into friends and neighbors. And we have gotten to know many of the farmers and cooks who make the food. It is a great routine for us. Today we sat outside the market an enjoyed a yummy, made-on-the-spot breakfast sandwich (with oh-so-delicious chicken sausage and egg) and a fresh blueberry and apricot scone. Addie and I enjoyed a breakfast outside while Adam ran back inside to purchase fresh pulled bbq pulled pork for dinner (from a woman, who it turns out lives nearby and is willing and able to make smoked pork products for Adam on demand.... oh my, we are set for the summer). What a fun start to our Saturday!
Dear Adeline and Levin, This blog is a way for us to tell you and the ones who love you about all of the wonderful things going on in your life. Love, Mom and Dad
