After the Laurel Falls hike, we dealt with P-pa's flat tire and then headed to Clingman's Dome. I really loved this hike and view. The "smoke" rolls in, followed by bursts of sunshine and clear skies. The temperature was much cooler, and it was a pleasant afternoon.

Chilling out post the steep hike.
Wildflowers and butterflies:
Addie loves butterflies and there were many to see on our hike back down the mountain. One even landed on her shorts.
Several hours later, we all went to dinner at the Old Mill Restaurant. The Mill has been here way before it was a tourist destination and was in operation in the early settlement days.
A yummy amped-up Cracker Barrel dinner was enjoyed by all.
Addie and Beckett enjoyed playing after dinner...
... and checking out the Thomas trains at the nearby toy store.
Then off to firehouse putt-putt. Addie enjoyed the old-timey fire engine.
Another great vacation day!
