The other exciting news is that you are getting closer to crawling. You now roll in both directions. (Just before your 3 month b-day, you were rolling from stomach to back, but after a month or so, stopped doing that. For the last couple months you have rolled from back to stomach and actually really like tummy time now. But just in the last couple weeks have you started to do stomach to back again... an allegedly easier move then the other direction.) You have moved your way across the room by rolling, but I don't think you are yet fully aware that this is a means to go from A to B. You also, gradually, army-maneuver backwards and can scoot a full 360 turn. As of Thursday, you lift your tummy off the floor, with your butt high in the air and your knees completely off the ground; only toes and hands support you on the ground. (For those with yoga knowledge, this looks like a downward facing dog.) This new trick has allowed you to move about 8-12 inches forward, although again I am not sure that you are aware of the movement. We are tremendously excited to see you start moving, despite the fact that everyone keeps telling us that this just creates more work for us. Our home is NOT babyproof, but we are expecting you to show us the way fairly soon.
Dear Adeline and Levin, This blog is a way for us to tell you and the ones who love you about all of the wonderful things going on in your life. Love, Mom and Dad
